Comfort Aire recommends the average lifespan of a system is between 15-20 years. That lifespan occurs – only if and we cannot stress this enough – you conduct semiannual maintenance and repairs preferably between the spring & fall months. So let’s get you taken care of!
Signs to consider when a new system is needed
- Age of System in excess of 20 years
- Rising Energy Bills
- Your Circuit Breaker keeps tripping
- Excessive Dust, Dirt, Soot or Rust particles visibly present
- Home Humidity problems (a nightmare for hardwood floors)
- Rooms Unevenly Heated or temperature is inconsistent
- Furnace becomes unusually noisy, rattles, buzzes or hums (due to cracks, leaks or structural issues
- Need for frequent repairs (when you see your repair man more than your actual friends it’s time to get an estimate)
